• Wood surfaces to be painted will be washed with a mild detergent or solvent to remove dirt, grease, mildew, soap, or oil film that may have accumulated.
• Water marks, smoke stains, pen marks, and other blemishes that could bleed through the new paint will be primed and sealed.
• Loose paint or other imperfections on walls or ceilings will be removed by scraping and sanding.
• Cracks and holes will be repaired with spackle or drywall compound, sanded, and primed. Mesh tape may be applied over cracks.
• Open joints and gaps between different surfaces will be caulked and filled for a cleaner, more finished appearance.
• Glossy surfaces will be dulled by sanding or undercoating to ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Only quality materials that offer the best results will be used.
• Waste materials, by-products, and used solvents will be disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Touch-up paint will be left in labeled containers for your future convenience.
