Progressive Finishes, Inc. offers a full range of specialty painting techniques including wall glazing, color washes, veneer plaster, textures, stains and waxes, distressed finishing, trompe l’oeil, and wood graining. Faux finishing creates inlay designs, cloud ceilings, stone, and many other fanciful finishes. Our in-house artisan can re-create designs for you from photos, books, magazines, or sketches. We also offer a display room with finishing samples and design books where you can come to get additional ideas for projects. Many projects are a combination of painting, faux finishing and wallpapering and our team has the experience to take these jobs from inception to completion.

Working with architects, designers, and individual clients we can develop complimentary finishes that work within a design scheme. Color mixing can be done on site to assess the difference in colors – each responding differently to space and light.

Our shop has the additional service of a spray booth where furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows can be finished or re-finished in a heat and moisture controlled, dust-free environment. Often these projects are started in our shop and then completed on your job-site.
